ADVENT Welcomes Two New Team Members.


ADVENT, LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Manisha Chakrabarti and Vijay Nenmeni to its growing team of intellectual property, innovation and technology experts. “Both Manisha and Vijay bring substantial expertise and bandwidth to ADVENT’s quickly growing electro-mechanical patent practice area,” mentioned Kevin West, Owner and Partner at ADVENT. “We are excited to further support ADVENT’s national practice by giving us a foot in two great communities for innovation — Chicago and Atlanta,” commented Ryan Grace, Owner and Partner at ADVENT. With over 20 years of experience, Manisha brings  valuable expertise to ADVENT with practice areas that include: development and maintenance of patent portfolios, preparation and prosecution of US and foreign patent applications, patent opinion work, strategic due diligence for product development, licensing, and design. Graduating with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin and Vermont Law School, Manisha has worked as an electrical engineer for the Johnson Space Center where she trained NASA Astronauts and Flight Controllers for five years. Learn more about Manisha’s practice here.


Vijay is a registered patent agent, having transitioned from a role as Technologist to patent agent at General Electric Corporation. Vijay is a licensed professional engineer with wide-ranging experience in innovation and patent law. His educational background includes a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Warangal, India. Vijay has several years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution in the areas of software systems, data analytics, control systems, power generation, optical systems, mechanical, chemical process systems, signal processing and medical devices. Learn more about Vijay here.
