Andrea is a Patent Agent at ADVENT who specializes in patent drafting and prosecution, as well as patentability, clearance, and landscape searching.
Andrea has done extensive work in the oil and gas industry, drawing from her experience working as a preventive maintenance planner at Puma Energy refinery in her hometown, Managua, Nicaragua. In addition to her experience in the oil and gas industry, Andrea has done extensive searching in the material science industry and the food science industry.
Andrea got her BSc. in Engineering from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR after being honored by the Walton International Scholarship Program with a full scholarship for her school performance and character. During this time, Andrea became involved in leadership programs that equipped her to develop mentorship programs for high school students in Masaya, Nicaragua. She was admitted as a Registered Patent Agent by the USPTO in 2021. Additionally, Andrea oversees and manages Advent’s digital marketing strategy, resources, and content creation.
