Erik Antonson is a Patent Agent with Advent IP, an intellectual property law firm specializing in intellectual property procurement, protection, and strategy. In his role, Erik focuses primarily on patent drafting, patent prosecution, and patent searching, in a wide range of technology areas, including computer networking and web technologies, storage, hardware, software, integrated circuits, telecommunications, e-commerce, biotechnology, medical devices, food science, and the mechanical arts.

Prior to joining Advent IP, Erik was a patent agent and a technical advisor for Suiter · Swantz PC LLO, an intellectual property law firm in Omaha. Prior to working in intellectual property, Erik worked as a mechanical design engineer for Raytheon Aircraft Integration Systems (AIS) in Waco, Texas, in Boeing Business Jet commercial programs and EP-3E MSA Navy programs.
